Vague retrospective is a blurry personal art history shaped in real time by works that resurface in the body during presentations. In an embodied recapitulation of motivations, ideas and aesthetics behind them, artworks interfere with the way of their own delivery, creating strange auto-referential loops. The artist talk situation is performatively used for figuring out, in real time, the story of an art past, looking for the problems that made certain works necessary, and for the present ones that might prefigure a possible next step, if not some future.
